Hi guys and welcome to Its About Makeup Time with ay girl L_lish here!!!! Today's review is all about Cover Girl's "not so new anymore" Ready Set Gorgeous Concealer. I was holding back on reviewing this concealer until I tried it for quite some time, but I seem to still have the same opinion on it.....Blah! This product retails for about $6 at Walmart but it can be found at any drugstore. I had never tried any UNIQUE products from Cover girl, and when this Ready Set Gorgeous line came out I was all for it. Basically the pink packaging reeled me into this product because if I was going off of past experience I would have passed. Lets take a look at this concealer: Packaging of the Product The 3 stages of the product As you can see the packaging makes you thing this is going to be a pretty good concealer, right? WRONG! Once you twist the cap open, the doe foot applicator is revealed. Most concealers...

Hi guys and welcome to Its About Makeup Time with ya girl L_lish here!!!!! I know I know, shame on me for not blogging, but follow me on my YouTube for more activity.. a lot more activity. I am not even gone make up an excuse for my absence. My YouTube Link!!!!!! Todays post is on the Maybelline Dream Lumi Concealer! This is a wonderful multi-use product. It sales at the drugstores for about $7. If you need a highlighting product this concealer is for you! If you need a high coverage concealer this is for you!! If you just really want more makeup this is for you!!! The packaging is sort of normal for a highlighting product such as this. There are many other types of highlighting concealers that do almost the same thing. For instance, the Lorac Higlighting Concealer Pen, LOreal Concealer Thingy, and the Physicians Formula Highlighter. SORRY I don't know the exact names, but that's not important right now. The Dream Lumi twist up like a Sti...

Hello guys and welcome to Its About Makeup time with ya girl L_lish here and today I am going to be reviewing the new Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser. This is sort of a dupe for the infamous Benefit Porefessional, which I have had and will be doing a comparison later in the review. First lets talk about cost..... This particular product cost about $5- $7 for 20 mL, depending on where you live and where you get the product. Here's a look: Maybelline Claims: "Insta-blur technology visibly smoothes pores away. Can be worn alone or under makeup. Non-comedogenic and fragrance-free Texture is really important in pore minimizers because the texture of the product is how your pores are actually "vanished". As far as the Baby Skin, it is a clear gel-like formula, which makes the skin smooth and refreshed. I love it! This can be used as a primer and can be used alone or with your makeup. Compared to Benefit Porefessional: ...

Hello and welcome to Its About Makeup Time with ya girl L_lish here and today I wanted to do a review on a recent favorite of mine. It is the Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in the color Pink Plum. If you have oily skin and blush slides right off if you this product is going to come in good use. I couldn't keep a blush on my skin for nothing, but when I received this blush for Christmas it helped my slickest blushes stay on. Texture: This blush has a rubbery feel to it which in its case is very handy. Color: I have the color pink plum which is a very natural flush of pink. Any skin tone can pull this blush off. Price: The price of this blush is about $5 to $6 depending on where you buy from. Overall: Overall this blush is amazing. I apply it using my Sonia Kashuk Stippling Brush and it goes on like a charm. Maybelline claims this blush is lighwieght and feels like a powder and they were 100% honest. This blush is like ice cream ...

Hello and welcome to Its About Makeup Time with ya girl L_Lish here!!! Today I will be reviewing something I got for Christmas, The Benefit Primping With The Stars Set! I LOVE this set. It retails for about $32 at Sephora. Benefit surely won on this one because everything in this set is in outstanding quality. *I will be doing individual reviews on the products Components: (reviews on each will be up, don't worry) This six piece set comes with 1. Stay Don't Stray 2. The Porefessional 3. Some Kind Of Gorgeous 4. Benetint 5. Girl Meets Pearl 6. They're Real! Packaging: The packaging of this product is brilliant. The design is basically a book, but here is the thing.... you can pop out the divider for a keepsake box! Isn't that compact packaging? The color is a beautiful mint green/ sorta blue. Overall: Overall this set is totally worth the money. The sizes of th...

Hi and Welcome to Its About Makeup Time with ya girl L_lish here. Today I have a review on the Elf Contouring Blush and Bronzer: Price and Where To Buy: This product cost $3 depending on where you get it from. I found it at Target, but you can also buy it at eyeslipsface.com! Pictures: Product Description I really like this product. If you are first starting out with makeup, or you just want more boom for your buck, this product is a must. It combines a beautiful blush and with an amazing bronzer. My only flaw of this duo is the bronzer. If you like a little shimmer in your bronzer this is for you, but if not then you are going to be disappointed. The blush is a peach with gold shimmer and the bronzer is medium colored, like the Too Faced one. The staying power of this duo is great. I can be at school for a full 8 hours and go to basketball practice, and you still will be able to see the blush! Comparisons: This product is widely compared to the Nars: Orga...

After that I had to get a new modem and the internet access still didn't work. I am currently having problems typing this review, but enough about me lets get started. I bought this set from Ulta. It was $15 and I thought that was reasonable considering the brand. First off lets talk about the amazing and beautiful packaging!!!!! I love it!! Its so.....Too Faced. This set comes with two items, the Chocolate Solei Bronzer and a Flatbuki. They are both adorable and compact. You can carry this anywhere becaus...

Hi guys and welcome to Its About Makeup Time with ya girl L_lish here!!!! Yay I'm so excited to be back on blogger because I have a ton of new products to review!!!!! The first I have though is a very popular product, the MAC Mineralized Skin Finish Natural(MSFN). This product cost about $31 on the online store and in-store. This powder is my new favorite. It screams natural because when I put it on the only difference I can tell is coverage. Usually when I'm going to school I'll just swipe this on my face. THATS HOW GOOD IT WORKS. If you've followed my post, you'll realize that I used the Maybelline Dream Matte Powder, this is still good but my MSFN is better. This powder is smooth and it is domed(baked) with the finest particles in it. I have had this powder for about 4 months and It has shown almost no sign of wearing out. If your looking for a good, natural, everyday powder, this is your best friend..... XOXO L_lish

Hi guys and welcome to Its About Makeup Time with ya girl L_lish here! Today I have a review about one of my favorite products ever.. The Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream. For those of you who do not understand what a BB cream is it is basically a tinted moisturizer. The only difference is that is has more coverage and is lightweight. I know some people(like me) are not old enough to wear foundation or don't even need foundation. A BB cream is excellent for you because there is coverage but just enough to cover slight imperfections. These BB creams are super duper extraordinary! They are only $6 and are found at many drugstores. I apply my BB cream with a ''knockoff'' Beauty Blender. Its works perfectly. The Maybelline BB Creams come in various colors that are perfect for even darker people. My color is Medium/Dark and I find that is blends very well with my true skin color. The packaging of these BB creams is just like your...

Hi and welcome to Its About Makeup Time with ya girl L_lish here!!!!!!!! Today I have a review on one of my holy grail products, the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer. This concealer can be found at almost any drugstore for an excellent price of about $5 or $6. You get .23 FL of product for about $5 or $6 come on! Lets talk about the packaging. When you first buy this concealer you might say that it looks like a lipgloss, because it has a doe-foot applicator! It is so slim and neatly packaged that my mom even told me "why buy such a dark lipgloss," LOL! If you want to you can apply this concealer with a concealer brush, but its so bendable that you don't really need one! The coverage is medium to full which is great for the price. The Fit Me concealer is also so creamy and rich that a little goes a long way... trust me! If you desperately need a concealer pick this one up...stat :) Oh I almost forgot, my color is 25 medium, but they have a va...

Hi and welcome to Its About Makeup Time with your girl L_lish here!!!!!!! Let me start off by saying it has been raining cats and dogs up here!!!!! I mean everyday we have at least a forty percent chance of thunderstorms. Its cray cray!!!!!! Anywho you all came here for something other than my stormy weather because today I'm going to be reviewing the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder. I buy Rimmel at Target, Walmart, Kmart, and Ulta. Those are the only stores I've seen this brand at. Rimmel is best known for their Stay Matte Powder, but I don't get why. First of all lets talk about the packaging. If you love to travel with your makeup or keep your makeup in a makeup bag, this is not the product for you. it is made like a CD case, just lift the lid. It has a little twisting with it, but after a while the twisting doesn't matter! I bought mine in transparent and I must say stay away from this color if you have medium to dark skin! When I applied ...

Hi and welcome to Its About Makeup Time. Today I have a product review for you guys!! So, I have recently got into using face products and I wanted a company in the drugstore that I can trust regularly to put on my face. I am really hesitant about putting products on my cheeks and forehead because they are really sensitive. I researched a lot of products, but there was nothing that caught my eye. I finally narrowed my research down to my favorite drugstore eyeshadow company (Maybelline). They had the Dream Matte Powder and I wanted to try it out. I currently use the Dream Fresh BB Cream from Maybelline and it gives an oily looking glow. I looked like I just got done playing Basketball! So I put my Dream Matte Powder on and BOOM, like magic oiliness was gone. This powder is so soft and it is milled perfectly. The color I decided to pick up was Sand which is Medium 0-1. I chose a color lighter than my skin tone because gives a highlighted effect. This powder is ...
