Merry Blogmas: Joyful Lilac Look

Image
Hi and welcome to Its About Makeup Time with ya girl L_lish. Today I want to kick off Blogmas,my personal series of Christmas Events. I will be doing hauls, reviews, and tutorials. The first post of this series is a fresh and joyful lilac look. Here is the finished product ------> First lets look at the brushes and makeup needed for the look:  Eco Tools blending brush, Coastal Scents smudge brush, Coastal Scents blending brush, and Coastal Scents pointed shading brush NYC HD Color Trio Shadow in Late Night Latte         You will also need the Revlon Illuminance Cream Shadow Quad in Not Just Nudes, Jordana Fabu Liner in Brown, and any kind of eyesahdow primer. To achieve this look begin by priming your eyes with your primer. Next, add the lightest shade in the quad onto your eyelids. ELF Contouring Blush and Bronzer!!!!!

Image
Hi and Welcome to Its About Makeup Time with ya girl L_lish here. Today I have a review on the Elf Contouring Blush and Bronzer: Price and Where To Buy: This product cost $3 depending on where you get it from. I found it at Target, but you can also buy it at eyeslipsface.com! Pictures: Product Description I really like this product. If you are first starting out with makeup, or you just want more boom for your buck, this product is a must. It combines a beautiful blush and with an amazing bronzer. My only flaw of this duo is the bronzer. If you like a little shimmer in your bronzer this is for you, but if not then you are going to be disappointed. The blush is a peach with gold shimmer and the bronzer is medium colored, like the Too Faced one. The staying power of this duo is great. I can be at school for a full 8 hours and go to basketball practice, and you still will be able to see the blush!   Comparisons: This product is widely compared to the Nars: Orgasm and La

Too Faced Chocolate Solei Bonzer

Image
Hi and welcome to Its About Makeup Time with ya girl L_lish here!!!!Before I start with the review on the Tan Without Winkle set, I would like to apologize about the lack of post. I am currently experiencing technical difficulties. My computer about a month or so ago shut down. It completely stopped working, then we tried fixing it and the internet stopped working. After that I had to get a new modem and the internet access still didn't work. I am currently having problems typing this review, but enough about me lets get started.           I bought this set from Ulta. It was $15 and I thought that was reasonable considering the brand. First off lets talk about the amazing and beautiful packaging!!!!! I love it!! Its so.....Too Faced. This set comes with two items, the Chocolate Solei Bronzer and a Flatbuki. They are both adorable and compact. You can carry this anywhere because of the size a reasonable comparison is the size of a ELF pressed powder ($1).   This br

MAC Mineralized Skin Finish Natural

Image
Hi guys and welcome to Its About Makeup Time with ya girl L_lish here!!!! Yay I'm so excited to be back on blogger because I have a ton of new products to review!!!!! The first I have though is a very popular product, the MAC Mineralized Skin Finish Natural(MSFN). This product cost about $31 on the online store and in-store.   This powder is my new favorite. It screams natural because when I put it on the only difference I can tell is coverage. Usually when I'm going to school I'll just swipe this on my face. THATS HOW GOOD IT WORKS. If you've followed my post, you'll realize that I used the Maybelline Dream Matte Powder, this is still good but my MSFN is better. This powder is smooth and it is domed(baked) with the finest particles in it. I have had this powder for about 4 months and It has shown almost no sign of wearing out. If your looking for a good, natural, everyday powder, this is your best friend.....   XOXO L_lish

Quick Tip

Image
Hi and Welcome to Its About Makeup Time with ya girl L_lish here!!! Today I have some quick tips!!! The first one has to do with your brows. As a girl who loves makeup, my brows are always groomed. To make sure of that, I get a cheap mascara and clean the wand. This then creates a spooly I can use for combing my brows for only $1 and I can bend it.

Late, but its here, Manicure Monday!

This week I am wearing Essie's Peach Daiquiri $8 on My thumbs, middle fingers, and pinkies. On my other fingers I am wearing Revlon's Pink Lingerie $5 For the glitter Coat I am wearing L.A. Color's Sparkling Diamonds $1 Last but not least the top coat I am wearing is Double Take by Wet N Wild XOXO, L_lish

Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream

Image
Hi guys and welcome to Its About Makeup Time with ya girl L_lish here! Today I have a review about one of my favorite products ever.. The Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream. For those of you who do not understand what a BB cream is it is basically a tinted moisturizer. The only difference is that is has more coverage and is lightweight. I know some people(like me) are not old enough to wear foundation or don't even need foundation. A BB cream is excellent for you because there is coverage but just enough to cover slight imperfections.     These BB creams are super duper extraordinary! They are only $6 and are found at many drugstores. I apply my BB cream with a ''knockoff'' Beauty Blender. Its works perfectly. The Maybelline BB Creams come in various colors that are perfect for even darker people. My color is Medium/Dark and I find that is blends very well with my true skin color.     The packaging of these BB creams is just like your normal everyd

Image
Hi and welcome to Its About Makeup Time with ya girl L_lish here!!!!! I just wanted to start off by saying I'm sorry that I have not been posting. I just came back from vacation and school starts in two days :) Anyway you all are not here to listen to my schedule, you are here for another review...YAY. Anyway I love thier lippies and I just so happen to find that I took some pictures of thier essential lipsticks. These lipsticks can be founds at Target,Kmart, and ELF.com(thats all I am aware of) for about $1. Charming,Classy,Nostalgic    I love how pigmented these lipsticks are. They remind you of smarties because they smell so fruity and good. I have three colors;Charming,Classy, and Nostalgic! Classy is a pink lipstick. It is the most perfect pink that I have. Charming is a redish nu

Jordana Lip Out Loud Super Shiny Glosses

Image
Hi and welcome to Its About Makeup Time wiht ya girl L_lish here!!!! Today I am reviewing one of my newest favorite products, the Jordana LOL(Lip Out Loud) Glosses. I have only seen Jordana in Kmart, but I'm sure you can find it somewhere else. The retail value of there are about $2 or $3. Pink- FYI     Coral- BTW    I love these glosses. They are super shiny!!!!! So if you don't like the slippery feel don't buy theses glosses. The packaging of theses glosses is so cute, and I am a sucker for packaging. The wand is like a huge doe-foot. It covers your whole lip with color without having to double dip. Jordana has a few colors of these glosses, but these popped!!!!! FYI is a soft pink with minimum silver glitters. BTW is a true coral and I love it!If you are in the market for some cheap and classy lip glosses these are the ones to get! XOXO, L_lish

Covergirl Eye Enhancers!!!!!

Image
Hi and welcome to Its About Makeup Time with ya girl L_lish hereeeeeeeeeeeeee, again. Yes, I am in the blogging mood. This means that you will see multiple post throughout the day!!!!!!!! I have been loving Covergirl ever since I started to do makeup, so while I was cleaning I though "Hey Covergirl reviews anyone"? So this brings me to my next review which is about Covergirl's Eyesahdows/ Eye Enhancers. Champagne.............Mink(DD Alert!!! All That Glitters Dupe)     I bought mine at Walmart, but you can find these eyeshadows at any drugstore for about $3 a piece. At first do not swatch theses eyeshadows!!! I don't know if it was me or what but sometimes that shiny residue will appear and make your eyeshadow hard to load up on brushes. This even happens with MAC and Too Faced :( But other than that the consistency is nice and creamy-like. Lets see some swatches shall we????? Marvelous :0    These are my favorite drugstore eyeshadows.... HANDS DOWN.

Covergirl Lash Exact Mascara!!!

Image
Hi and Welcome to Its About Makeup Time with ya girl L_lish here!!!!!!!!! Today I have a review on another of my holy grail products, the Covergirl Lash Exact Mascara. You can find this mascara in almost any drugstore for about $6 or $7.      I LOVE this mascara!!!!! Its the only one I have in my collection other than an elf one, but I still use it everyday. This mascara doesn't make my lashes clumpy and the texture and formula are excellent! The color I have is black BTW. Lets just take a moment of silence for that spooly! It is amazing, there are a variety of long and short  bristles and they are evenly spaced and densely packed for a multiplying effect on your lashes. If you want fuller, richer, and longer lashes this mascara is definitely one to try! XOXO, L_lish

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer :)

Image
Hi and welcome to Its About Makeup Time with ya girl L_lish here!!!!!!!! Today I have a review on one of my holy grail products, the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer. This concealer can be found at almost any drugstore for an excellent price of about $5 or $6. You get .23 FL of product for about $5 or $6 come on! Lets talk about the packaging. When you first buy this concealer you might say that it looks like a lipgloss, because it has a doe-foot applicator! It is so slim and neatly packaged that my mom even told me "why buy such a dark lipgloss," LOL! If you want to you can apply this concealer with a concealer brush, but its so bendable that you don't really need one!  The coverage is medium to full which is great for the price. The Fit Me concealer is also so creamy and rich that a little goes a long way... trust me! If you desperately  need a concealer pick this one up...stat :)  Oh I almost forgot, my color is 25 medium, but they have a variety of differ

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder

Image
Hi and welcome to Its About Makeup Time with your girl L_lish here!!!!!!! Let me start off by saying it has been raining cats and dogs up here!!!!! I mean everyday we have at least a forty percent chance of thunderstorms. Its cray cray!!!!!! Anywho you all came here for something other than my stormy weather because today I'm going to be reviewing the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder. I buy Rimmel at Target, Walmart, Kmart, and Ulta. Those are the only stores I've seen this brand at. Rimmel is best known for their Stay Matte Powder, but I don't get why.     First of all lets talk about the packaging. If you love to travel with your makeup or keep your makeup in a makeup bag, this is not the product for you. it is made like a CD case, just lift the lid. It has a little twisting with it, but after a while the twisting doesn't matter! I bought mine in transparent and I must say stay away from this color if you have medium to dark skin! When I applied thi

Coastal Scents Brush Review

Image
Hi welcome to Its About Makeup Time with your girl L_lish here!!!!! I have been thinking... What if I change my review style? Sometimes it might be hard to understand the thoughts that I have written... I know! I am going to start reviewing in a category style!!!!! YAY!!!! The first review in this style will be about my favorite brushes by Coastal Scents. Picture from Coastalscents.com Texture These brushes feel amazing! To give you a feel of what I'm talking about they feel like human hair after its been washed. Do you get it?  Smell There is a slight smell in the brushes when they are brand new. Just was them, it will go away! After Wash After I washed these brushes for the first time and actually used them I did experience a little shedding in the powder brush. This was just because of washing it though because after that first wash there was no more shedding. The 12 Piece set comes with 4 face brushes, but I don't use the concealer brush for con

Olay Pro X Advanced Cleansing System Limited edition Pink!!!!

Image
Hi, long time no see. Welcome back to Its About Makeup Time with your girl L_lish here!!!!! Today I have two reviews the first one ,which is this one, is about the Olay Pro X Advanced Cleansing System in Limited edition Pink. I originally had the regular cleansing system from Olay on my Christmas/Wish List. I have to say, I made a pretty good pick here. The price of this system is reasonably good considering it is suppose to be a dupe for the Clarisonic. I found my System at Walmart for about $30 but you may also find it at Target.    This is the box of the system.      First of all, let's just talk about this cute packaging! I love pink and this is pink. I don't know exactly how long this color will be available, but if you like pink you might want to get your hands on it. Olay claims that this system cleanses 6 times better than regular cleaning. This is true for me, but it does not maximize the moisturizing effects of my moisturizer( Clean and Clear Dual Action

Cream Shadow Showdown with Bonus Bases.... Finally

Image
Welcome back to Its About Makeup Time with ya girl L_lish here and today will be the last post of Cream Shadow Showdown with Bonus Bases. In this post I will be announcing the winner of the Showdown. I will have a winner for high-end, high-end runner up, low-end, and low-end runner up. High-End Winner The best High-end Base/Cream Shadow goes to MAC's Painterly Paint Pot. This is the most versatile Cream Shadow because it can also be a base or primer. High-End Runner Up Of course I only have two High-end items but this would still be my runner up. I like the Too Faced Shadow Insurance because it primes my eyes while giving me a matte finish too them. Even though I have tried Urban Decay's Primer Potion, I still don't say it beats this primer. Low-End Winner Of course you might have guessed it.... Okay maybe you didn't, but the Revlon Illuminance Cream Shadow Quad won for low-end I like this quad because again you can use it a  base and primer. You also

Revlon Illuminance Cream Shadow Quads

Image
Hi and welcome to Its About Makeup Time with your girl L_lish here. Today I have the last post for Cream Shadow Showdown with Bonus Bases :(  The last, but not the least cream shadow I am reviewing in this series is the Revlon Illuminance Cream Shadow Quad in Not Just Nudes. Ok I am going to be real with y'all, I love this quad. I think I like these cream shadows better that the Maybelline Color Tattoos. These eyeshadows are creamier and more pigmented. They range for about $4-$5, which is not bad for four cream eyeshadows! I have hit pan on the matte brown shade....…Sorry.  The colors in this quad are very versatile. I have used them and bases and shadows. One look I love involves the second shade(all over lid) and the darkest shade(in the crease). The lightest shade in this quad is a very light nude with minimum=m shimmer.  The second shadow is a medium shadow with chunkier glitter than the first one. The third one is the only matte. It is perfect for a matte warm lo
