Maybelline Great Lash Lots of Lashes Mascara

Image
Hello guys and welcome to Its About Makeup Time with ya girl L_lish here!!!!! Today I have a review for a mascara that I have been trying to love, but ended up disliking very much, the Maybelline Great Lash Lots of Lashes Mascara. Lets get started....   Packaging: The packaging of this product is a pinK and green tube. I actually bought this product specifically for the packaging, but don't tell anyone! Price: The price of this mascara is about $4-$6 depending on where you buy. It can be found in Wal-Mart, Target, Ulta, and any other drugstore. Quality: Out of all of my Maybelline products, this is the only thing I absolutely have no care for. It has a very wet formula so it can be hard to layer and even harder to not make mistakes with. With this mascara I find that my lashes look fake and thick, but in a bad way. Once applied my lashes looked like spider legs, and that ain't cute (excuse my ghetto)! The wand is very unique though, I have to give ...

Ulta Addicted To Eyes Palette

Image
Hello guys and welcome to Its About Makeup Time with ya girl L_lish here!!!!  Sorry for the lack of post, my main concern has been YouTube and basketball lately. With school being over I am wearing vibrant colors for the Spring/Summer. I recently was on Ulta and noticed they launched a new palette, which is not sold online anymore, The Ulta Addicted To Eyes Palette.      Left to right: Brow wax, light powder, medium powder, Bone, Sun-kissed, Key West, Elegance, Seaside, and Plum Nior     The packaging of the palette is a strong, heavy duty cardboard. It has this beautiful purple marble effect just like the Tarte Be MATTnificent palette. For $12 you get way..Way, WAY more than you pay for. As far as quality and quantity this product is a must have. This palette has six eyeshadows and three brow products. I absolutely love these eyeshadows for a fun pop of color. They are vivid, but yet have a sultry effect to th...

They're Real Mascara

Image
Hello and welcome to Its About Makeup Time with ya girl L_lish here! Today I am blogging while I am at the Tech Fair, so I decided to do a video on my favorite mascara..... Benefit They're Real. This mascara is AWSOME! I love it for a dramatic application on my lashes. Packaging: The packaging of this product is silver and is shaped oddly. There is 8.5 grams of product in the tube, and the wand generously distributes each and every bit of it. Price: The price of this mascara is $23 at most resellers. Quality: This mascara goes beyond expectations. My lashes are x5 bigger after the application of this mascara. Benefit did they're thing!!!!! The applicator is fair with spikes that vary coming together at the top to form a ball. This feature helps extend even the hardest to reach lashes. If scarce lashes scare you this mascara is a must have. When used lashes instantly grow and thicken. Overall: Overall this product is amazing I give ...

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potions!!!!

Image
Hello welcome to Its About Makeup Time with ya girl L_Lish and today I will be posting another review from my Christmas Haul about Urban Decay Primer Potions. I received two of these primers in a set, Original and Greed. If you want the same set Ulta has it for $16   I have always has a liking for Urban Decay Primer Potion and I have rediscovered my love for it. The Original primer is in the purple tube. It is basically a skin colored base that prolongs the wear  of eye shadows and guarantees vibrancy. Greed is amazing! It is a gold tinted base that helps eye shadows stay on but tints them to a color in the gold family. Original and Greed before blending Original and Greed after blending Overall these are great primers. They increase the wear of any eye shadow by 2-3 hours. For a full size tube the cost is $20 but for a half sized tube its $10. The packaging is great. The staying power is great.... this is just an outstanding produ...

Benefit surely won on this one because everything in this set is in outstanding quality. *I will be doing individual reviews on the products Components: (reviews on each will be up, don't worry) This six piece set comes with 1. Stay Don't Stray   2. The Porefessional   3. Some Kind Of Gorgeous   4. Benetint    5. Girl Meets Pearl    6. They're Real! Packaging: The packaging of this product is brilliant. Covergirl Eye Enhancers!!!!!

Image
Hi and welcome to Its About Makeup Time with ya girl L_lish hereeeeeeeeeeeeee, again. Yes, I am in the blogging mood. This means that you will see multiple post throughout the day!!!!!!!! I have been loving Covergirl ever since I started to do makeup, so while I was cleaning I though "Hey Covergirl reviews anyone"? So this brings me to my next review which is about Covergirl's Eyesahdows/ Eye Enhancers. Champagne.............Mink(DD Alert!!! All That Glitters Dupe)     I bought mine at Walmart, but you can find these eyeshadows at any drugstore for about $3 a piece. At first do not swatch theses eyeshadows!!! I don't know if it was me or what but sometimes that shiny residue will appear and make your eyeshadow hard to load up on brushes. This even happens with MAC and Too Faced :( But other than that the consistency is nice and creamy-like. Lets see some swatches shall we????? Marvelous :0    These are my favorite drugstore eyeshadows.... HANDS ...

Covergirl Lash Exact Mascara!!!

Image
Hi and Welcome to Its About Makeup Time with ya girl L_lish here!!!!!!!!! Today I have a review on another of my holy grail products, the Covergirl Lash Exact Mascara. You can find this mascara in almost any drugstore for about $6 or $7.      I LOVE this mascara!!!!! Its the only one I have in my collection other than an elf one, but I still use it everyday. This mascara doesn't make my lashes clumpy and the texture and formula are excellent! The color I have is black BTW. Lets just take a moment of silence for that spooly! It is amazing, there are a variety of long and short  bristles and they are evenly spaced and densely packed for a multiplying effect on your lashes. If you want fuller, richer, and longer lashes this mascara is definitely one to try! XOXO, L_lish

Cream Shadow Showdown with Bonus Bases.... Finally

Image
Welcome back to Its About Makeup Time with ya girl L_lish here and today will be the last post of Cream Shadow Showdown with Bonus Bases. In this post I will be announcing the winner of the Showdown. I will have a winner for high-end, high-end runner up, low-end, and low-end runner up. High-End Winner The best High-end Base/Cream Shadow goes to MAC's Painterly Paint Pot. This is the most versatile Cream Shadow because it can also be a base or primer. High-End Runner Up Of course I only have two High-end items but this would still be my runner up. I like the Too Faced Shadow Insurance because it primes my eyes while giving me a matte finish too them. Even though I have tried Urban Decay's Primer Potion, I still don't say it beats this primer. Low-End Winner Of course you might have guessed it.... Okay maybe you didn't, but the Revlon Illuminance Cream Shadow Quad won for low-end I like this quad because again you can use it a  base and primer. You also ...

Revlon Illuminance Cream Shadow Quads

Image
Hi and welcome to Its About Makeup Time with your girl L_lish here. Today I have the last post for Cream Shadow Showdown with Bonus Bases :(  The last, but not the least cream shadow I am reviewing in this series is the Revlon Illuminance Cream Shadow Quad in Not Just Nudes. Ok I am going to be real with y'all, I love this quad. I think I like these cream shadows better that the Maybelline Color Tattoos. These eyeshadows are creamier and more pigmented. They range for about $4-$5, which is not bad for four cream eyeshadows! I have hit pan on the matte brown shade....…Sorry.  The colors in this quad are very versatile. I have used them and bases and shadows. One look I love involves the second shade(all over lid) and the darkest shade(in the crease). The lightest shade in this quad is a very light nude with minimum=m shimmer.  The second shadow is a medium shadow with chunkier glitter than the first one. The third one is the only matte. It is perfect...

NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk

Image
Hi and welcome to Its About Makeup Time with your girl L_lish here!!!!!! Today I am doing another Cream Shadow Showdown with Bonus Bases and it's a review on the NYX Jumbo pencils.......YAY. So, one day while at my local beauty store, I saw these pencils. They were $3.99 and my beauty store only had neutral colors so I thought they were perfect for bases. Turns out I was right! These Jumbo Pencils were great bases. They only two I have are Milk and Pots and Pans. Milk is the only one I am reviewing though because Pots and Pans got de-potted and destroyed by a girl who loves trying out new things :|                                                     I love using this because: 1. It makes my eyeshadows POP. 2. It last a long time. 3. It has no creasing unless you are heavy with application. 4. I can use it also as a stand-al...

NYX Eyeshadow Base

Image
Hi and welcome to Its About Makeup Time with me, L_lish. Today I have another Cream Shadow Showdown with Bonus Bases post. Before I knew about makeup I was searching for a good eyeshadow base and I stubbled across the NYX one. I found mine at my local beauty supply store, but they are also sold at Ulta for about $6. The color I have is Skin Tone. It is a creamy matte nude. It reminds me alot like MAC's Painterly Paint Pot. The only difference is the price. The NYX Eyeshadow Base in Skin Tone is the perfect primer or base for any type of shadows, it even made my dollar store shadows pop. On the package, the base is suppose to hold, intensify, and last longer on your lids. I have to say this is fairly true. This base does not last as long as MAC's Paintpot, but is last just as good. I have had this product for about 7 months now and I has yet to show any signs of drying out. If you want a MAC Paint Pot,but cannot afford it I recommend buying this product.       ...

Maybelline Color Tattoos!!!

Image
Hi and welcome back to Its About Makeup Time with your girl L_lish. Today, I am doing part two of Cream Shadow Showdown with Bonus Bases. The next base I am talking about is the Maybelline Color Tattoos. Many people compare these bases with MAC Paint Pots. To me, the Maybelline Color Tattoos would beat MAC Paint Pots if they were creamier and more controllable. I have two neutral colors of the Color Tattoos: Barely Branded and Bad To The Bronze. Barely Branded is a light pale nude with tons of shimmer in it because it is in the Metal line. bad To The Bronze is a bronzed brown color with a little glitter in it. I tend to use Barely Branded more because it matches my skin tone more and I can wear it alone as a shimmery nude. Here is a comparison to the MAC Paint Pots. MAC Painterly Paint Pot                                                ...

MAC Painterly Paint Pot

Image
Hi and welcome to Its About Makeup Time and today I am reviewing the MAC Painterly Paint Pot. This is the first Cream Shadow Showdown and Bonus Bases Post. Many people say that this can be a primer and a base. I absolutely agree with this statement. I have tried many primers and bases, but this Paint Pot made me look no more!  Once swatched this eyeshadow cream is a pale neutral with pink undertones. This cream base can blend in with pretty much any skin tone. There is one thing you have to remember though, once you put this on its hard to take off. I don't think this cream base is waterproof but it acts like it is. This product retails at MAC for $18.50 which is pretty good for it being "high end". I brought mine at Nordstrom (an amazingly huge department store) and the MAC selection was spectacular!!!!     Overall this eyeshadow base is GREAT. I give it a 10/10... The packaging of it is also sleek and simple. It is a glass jar with a mat...

Cream Shadow Showdown!!! With Bonus Bases...

Image
Hi and welcome to Its About Makeup Time throughout this week I will be doing a series of post called Cream Shadow Showdown With Bonus Bases. Basically in this tongue twisting series I will be reviewing and comparing different cream eyeshadows and bases. I love cream eyeshadows. They are so fun to experiment with!  I put a base under ALL cream eyeshadows. No matter what brand it is it is getting a base under it. Here is a picture of our starting lineup........

MAC All That Gliters Eyeshadow

Image
This eyeshadow is my favorite all time shadow. I love applying this all over my lid with Tease from the Naked 2 palette in the crease. The consistency of this shadow is soooo smooth! Since it is a Veluxe Pearl, you would think that the consistency is bumpy and chunky, but its not. Basically All That Glitters works well ''in groups'' and ''alone''.   The retail value of this shadow is $15.00.I highly recommend investing in a MAC eyeshadow. The basic ones people always reach for are: Brule, Satin Taupe, Espresso, All That Glitters, and Naked Launch. Overall this eyeshadow is amazing.Oh... I almost forgot, The color is a mixture with brown and pink with glitter(the definition of me). Try It... You Know You Want To!!!!!!

Urban Decay Naked 2!!!!!

Image
The Urban Decay Naked 2 palette is one of those "go to" makeup items. It has twelve natural colors in it: Left to Right: Foxy, Half Baked, Bootycall, Chopper, Tease, Snakebite, Suspect, Pistol, Verve, YDK, Busted, Blackout This palette has some of my most used eyeshadows: Foxy and Tease!!!! Color , Description,  Finish , Pigmentation 1-10 , Good For ,  Pros/Cons Foxy-vanilla looking-matte-10- good for setting base and blending colors together-matte,easilyblended/none                                                                                         Half Baked-gold with chunky glitter-glitter-10-all over lid-stands out/fall out                 Bootycall-champagne-shimmer-...
